Our Service uses YouTube API Services. By using PastaWater, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service .

We access the following YouTube data on your behalf:

• Channel information (name, ID, thumbnail)
• Channel statistics (subscriber count, view count, video count)
• Video information (titles, view counts, like counts, comment counts)
• YouTube Analytics data (if you grant analytics permissions)

3.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Email address and display name when you create an account
• OAuth Authorization: When you connect your YouTube channel, you authorize us to access your YouTube data through Google OAuth 2.0

3.2 Information from YouTube API Services

When you connect your YouTube channel, we access and store:

• Your YouTube channel ID and channel name
• Channel statistics (subscribers, views, video count)
• Video metadata and statistics for your videos
• Historical analytics data (with your permission)

3.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Cookies: We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences
• Local Storage: We store authentication tokens in your browser's local storage
• Usage Data: Basic analytics about how you interact with the dashboard

We use the information we collect to:

• Display your YouTube channel analytics in our dashboard
• Track historical trends of your channel performance
• Maintain and improve our Service
• Authenticate your access to the Service
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Share your YouTube data with other users
• Use your data for advertising purposes
• Modify your YouTube channel or content in any way

5.1 What We Store

• OAuth Tokens: Encrypted and stored in our PostgreSQL database
• Channel Statistics: Stored for 30-90 days to show historical trends
• API Cache: Cached in Redis for 24 hours to reduce API calls

5.2 Security Measures

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 (HTTPS)
• OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest
• Access controls ensure users can only view their own data
• We host our infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform with enterprise-grade security

Our Service integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google/YouTube API Services: To fetch your YouTube channel data
• Google Cloud Platform: For hosting and infrastructure

Third-Party Content: Our Service does not serve third-party advertisements. The only third-party content displayed is your own YouTube channel data retrieved through the YouTube API.

We use the following technologies to collect and store information:

• Session Cookies: Essential for maintaining your logged-in state
• Local Storage: Stores your authentication token for seamless access
• Preference Cookies: Remember your dashboard settings and preferences

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

8.1 Access and Control Your Data

You have the right to:

• View: See all the YouTube data we have stored for you in your dashboard
• Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Delete: Delete your account and all associated data at any time

8.2 Disconnect YouTube Access

You can disconnect your YouTube channel from PastaWater at any time:

• From PastaWater: Use the Settings page to disconnect your channel
• From Google: Revoke our access directly through your Google Account Security Settings

8.3 Delete Your Account

When you delete your account or disconnect a channel:

• All OAuth tokens are permanently deleted
• All cached data is cleared
• All historical statistics are removed
• Your user record is removed from our database

• Account Data: Retained until you delete your account
• OAuth Tokens: Retained until you disconnect the channel or delete your account
• Channel Statistics: Retained for 30-90 days for trend analysis
• API Cache: Automatically expires after 24 hours

Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
